Christianity is brimming with wild, fascinating stories throughout human history. Some beautiful, some extremely messy. Many christians think their view of the bible is clearly derived from how it plainly reads, and yet they wonder why there is so much division among what christians believe. The truth is, we've all been impacted by the lenses through which we see and the tides of time and culture we’ve lived through. This is a podcast that tells those amazing christian stories and asks tough questions relating to christianity’s encounters with culture over centuries, and how western eyes have struggled to see the larger picture contained in the bible.

God's salvation plan through history is the single most incredible hope for humanity for all eternity, but the amazing twists and turns that story has taken over the last 2000 years is often lost. This podcast will tell the inspiring and, sometimes wild stories of how Christianity, the Church, and the diversity its beliefs developed alongside the push and pull of the culture. In this first episode I spend a few minutes setting up the podcast for you and giving an idea what to expect for future episodes.
